Sonnenberg Advisory was founded after almost two decades of investment fund and family office operations experience.

Prior to Sonnenberg Advisory, Rachel led the development and creation of the Investment Innovation Lab at Amazon Web Services focused on early stage startups. Prior to AWS she was Chief of Staff at Kindred Ventures, a seed stage venture capital fund. Prior to Kindred, she worked at Y Combinator, focusing on their growth stage fund. Previously, she worked at North Run Capital, a Boston-based long short event driven hedge fund. She began her finance career at Audax Group, a private equity fund focusing on middle market companies with an emphasis on add-on acquisitions. Prior to investing, she was at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company where she was recruited into the management training program from college and then focused on operations and quality analytics.
